There’s something about the weekend that puts me in a bargain-hunting mood (check out my #Nsale travel picks here), so I thought I’d help keep the Sunday scaries at bay with a #shoeporn-worthy dupe.
Gianvito Rossi is a fairly new brand to me, but I’m a firm new fan after seeing these sexy plexi pumps. How cool is that transparent panel? I love how they take the classic pump and elevate them to a whole other level of edginess. Plus, I think they’d do wonder for elongating your legs just like little Miss Selena:
As I suspected, since these are red-carpet worthy, they also unfortunately have a red-carpet appropriate price tag – over $700! I mean, they’re gorgeous, but I feel like they’re a bit too trendy to justify an investment. But let’s get real, I just don’t have that money. However, my (imaginary) friends at Boohoo have done us all a service and made a pretty spot-on dupe for only $44.
Grab them here!
Asos also sells a similar version by Public Desire in khaki, if you’re looking for a more autumnal pair:
They’re also under $50, and you can purchase here.
I think these will become even more omnipresent with dupes come autumn, so snag them now before every fashionista is let in on the secret! Happy Sunday shopping! I’m currently catching up on YouTube videos and will be off to brunch soon and more blog post writing! I’m so determined to do at least 4 posts a week, so I need to get working away (but brunch comes first of course)! What are you up to this weekend?

Give me this dress, a flight to Greece and a glass of rose – and I’m all set!
If you’ve been to any summer wedding or read any fashion blog this season, chances are you’ve glimpsed this oh so lovely Self Portrait dress. Lacy, feminine and unique, I think it’s the perfect pretty party dress for any summer occasion. Something not so pretty? The $480 price tag.
Miranda Kerr is a fan. Miranda also has supermodel/Orlando Bloom divorce money, so $480 probably doesn’t set her back like us peasants.
Surprisingly, there aren’t too many dupes currently available for this design. Determined to save money and find a bargain, I put my years of online shopping/sleuthing experience to the test. Finally, the angels at Bloomingdale’s heard my prayers and sent me a Sunday blessing with a gorgeous look for less:
Brought to you by in-house Bloomingdale’s brand, Aqua, you can look very Self Portrait esque without the price tag. Sidenote – this brand Aqua has so many cute dresses right now – definitely check them out. Thanks to the neckline details, I almost love the look for less more than the original. If you’re headed to a bridal shower or wedding and don’t want to commit a serious faux pas, the dress also comes in pink and black.
Happy Sunday and happy shopping!
It’s hotter than the hobs of hell here in St. Louis, and I’m looking for any way to escape the heat wave. While I love the look of a golden tan, I’m trying to get better about sun protection and hiding my skin from sun damage (wrinkles begone!). This Eugenia Kim sun hat is a blogger favorite and perfect way to shield your face while looking perfectly Instagrammable.
Rocky Barnes is one of the many insta-celebs loving Eugenia Kim.
While it’s super sassy, the hat is also super expensive. Frankly, I’m not down with spending over $50, let alone $400 (!!!!) for something I’m wearing to the pool or beach. I found some dupes that also feature cheeky slogans, so you’ll turn heads while keeping yours cool and covered.
My favorites have to be this Come Sail Away version and this Beach Please option. One sweet, and one a little more spunky.
Thank you for stopping by and happy Sunday!
How cute are these pom pom gladiator sandals for summer? I’ve seen every blogger I love skipping around in them in Ibiza, Greece, the Amalfi Coast – you name it. The bright colors would be the perfect statement shoe if you’re a more monochromatic dresser like me. So beachy – now all I need is a European beach to frolic on!
For someone who’s afraid of wearing color, I am loving these wild pairs.
The originals are by Elina Linardaki and pretty expensive, setting you back $225. Not worth it for sandals that will likely fall apart after several hikes up and down the Italian or Croatian coast (dare to dream, right?). Luckily, there are plenty of dupes available now, so I’ve found a great look for less for your next vacation, or trip to a patio for happy hour.
You can snag this Chinese Laundry pair at Nordstrom for $80 – less than half of what the originals will cost you. More money to spend on a cute bikini or off-the -shoulder dress to match! They’re the perfect addition to a bohemian summer wardrobe.
Happy Sunday and Happy Father’s day! I’m off to celebrate with my family in Chicago before heading back home – what are you up to?

Who else wants to confess to being #obsessed (yes, the hashtag was necessary) with these Chloe espadrille wedges? So chic, and wedges = so comfortable.
Are they not bohemian perfection? That $500 plus price tag though, my friends, is definitely not perfection.
Literally the best spring/summer shoes.
So, as you can imagine, I practically screeched for joy when I found these spot-on Marc Fisher lookalikes. They’re $160, so not totally budget-approved, but doable compared to $500.
Schutz makes a more affordable version
for less than $100. The wedge is a little thicker, but perhaps these are better for more clumsy and prone to tripping over flat ground girls like me?
So, enjoy the last bits of your Memorial Day weekend (cue sobbing and dread), catch up on Southern Charm, polish of that last BBQ, and pick up an affordable dupe for the perfect summer wedge.
