Cyber Monday High Street Haul! ASOS, Topshop, and more

Happy Sunday, friends! How was your weekend? After committing to staying in all weekend, I ended up out both nights (typical), and last night somehow was at a Moroccan themed Christmas pop up that then turned into a brass band concert?? Anyway, I had some mulled wine, catch-ups with my friends Sasha and Sam, an intro to Aussie culture thanks to some visiting boys from Oz, and a little boogie to a brass version of Hey Ya, so can’t complain.

ALSO, I’m not unbearably hungover, so I thought I’d share a haul with you! My FIRST EVER haul to be more precise. I’ve been accumulating these affordable high street pieces for autumn and winter, so I knew I should definitely share this weekend as literally everything is on sale due to Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Black Week. Actually a little annoyed that I bought everything full price! Hope you enjoy, and let me know what types of videos you’d like to see? I’m off to cure my slight hangover with Pizza Express, catching up on my favourite YouTubers (Sophia and Cinza & Alex and Michael are my faves right now) and mindless Bumble-ing. Goals, amirite?

ASOS 2015 Halloween Edit

While I can’t wait to go full-on Halloween freak in one of my not so slutty costume ideas, I also love to find ways to interject the holiday spirit in the days leading up to the big, spooky event. Think more cute and festive touches and less over the top costume extravaganza.

Asos is one of my favorite online retailers, and didn’t fail to provide cool Halloween items while maintaining an eye for design. These picks will help you add some tricks and treats into your next fall outing – say apple picking, an office Halloween party or pumpkin carving/Hocus Pocus marathon.

Bunny Ears – very Louis Vuitton-esque
Ghost Elbow Patch Sweater – cute little hidden pop of Halloween

Holiday Party Dresses

With Thanksgiving this week, the full-on holiday season is finally here. I’m gearing up to be crazed with holiday events – work parties, girls’ nights out, family soirees – the average twentysomething’s social calendar is bound to be chock full. So, girlfriends, I have found a ton of cute party dresses perfect for any occasion. Some are sassy, some are edgy, some are sexy, some are flirty and some are classy – but they are all damn cute.

1. Cape Dress – for the more fashion forward chica
2. A simple shift in rich holiday red
3. Confession. I already ordered this dress. I die for an embellished collar.
4. Pretty peplum and ruffles.
5. A sweetheart neckline and lace number.
6. Love this embroidered sequin shift. Very mod and interesting.
7. Super flattering sequin kimono shift. Perfect for NYE.
8. Love the touch of sexy masculinity on this tuxedo dress.
9. A classy, yet festive lacy red midi dress – perfect for a family party.

Put a Bow On It

I’m obsessed with bows. Their whimsy and femininity always adds a ladylike touch to any item, so I love them practically on anything. Blouses, shoes, belts, rings, bags – you name it, they are better with a bow. Bows are an excellent way to add a a fun “pop” to a timeless more plain piece without it becoming childish or losing any elegance. My style veers to the preppy, so I love adding some prep in my step a la a Kate Spade ad with a beautiful big bow. Above are some of my favorite current bow pieces. One is an investment (Kate Spade, you are tempting me!), but the others are all very affordable.
