Get the vibes:
While I love Wordless Wednesday, it’s recently been replaced by more travel-themed posts. I thought I’d instead start a “Weekend Vibes” series, so I can still get my creative/mood board fix. Plus, I just need an excuse to use the word vibes more…
Shop the vibe:
Well, Monday has hit me like a ton of bricks. After spending all weekend at a work conference spending my days working and nights drinking and dancing – I am exhausted. The only thing giving me life is this fabulous dupe I’m about to bestow on you. Drumroll please….
Yes, Queen OP is back, and I miraculously found a perfect copy of her gorgeous pink and tortoishell Westward Leaning Flower sunglasses. These babies retail for over $200! Plus, Olivia’s pink pair, the best color option in my opinion, appears to be no longer available online.
Since I don’t have the bank account of my favorite socialite cum The City star cum fashionista – my heroes at Missguided have stepped in to save the day. This dupe is only $14!
Pretty near perfect if you ask me! Even if you’re not an Olivia fan, these are also very reminiscent of the Dior So Real frames and super on trend.
Happy Monday, internet friends! To dull the pain of the weekend ending, I’m here to online shop and share a look for less! This dupe is brought to you by Olivia Palermo, a tried and true style stalwart. She’s the queen of looking ladylike and put together, and her style inspiration can be necessary when I’m stuck in a week-long leggings/t shirt/messy bun/Netflix rut.
This week I’m feeling particularly inspired by her chic all-black Paris Fashion Week look. While a mono look, her statement pieces keep it far from boring. In my book, anything all black is always on-point, and since Olivia is in head-to-toe designer duds – this outfit is the perfect inspiration for some more affordable dupes.
Queen OP’s double breasted jacket jazzes up the all black ensemble with its gold buttons and 80s statement cut. Hers is Reiss, but I love this Boohoo dupe that’s only $44. There are plenty of similar styles in either coat or blazer form, so you can do your best OP impression in any weather.
Her sassy fringe heels are YSL and stunning, but luckily like most Saint Laurent wares, there are plenty of affordable options available that won’t dent the wallet. Nasty Gal does a dope version for under $50.
Last, her one little pop of color comes from this chic statement clutch. Like leopard print, I think snakeskin accessories are great at adding a bit of interest to an otherwise monochrome ensemble. Olivia’s bag is Meli Melo, but I prefer the faux options below that are less expensive AND didn’t harm any animals.
Hello friends! It’s Saturday, so that means I’ve been pinning up a storm and online shopping (browsing of course). I’ve always been a sucker for bright, shiny objects, and shoes are no exception. I also love to play with a touch of menswear and androgyny in my clothing, so silver oxfords are ticking all the right boxes. Add in my two favorite street style celebs Gigi Hadid and Olivia Palermo? These shoes shot straight to the top of my wish list.
Of course, Gigi and Olivia are able to afford pricier versions like Jimmy Choo and Prada, but lucky for us, plenty of affordable retailers are offering their own glitzy shoes. Check out a few wallet friendly options below that will still capture their it-girl style.
Gigi’s shoes come with black laces that really up the contrast and make the shoes pop. Hers are definitely a more punk rock vibe than Olivia’s. I think ASOS makes a great dupe, which only retails for $43! These would pair perfectly with a pair of skinny black pants, just like Gigi.
